Could you please explain what a 12b-51 fee is? I've heard the term in relation to mutual funds but I'm not entirely clear on its significance and purpose. How does it differ from other types of fees associated with mutual fund investments? Also, is it something that investors should be aware of when making decisions about which funds to invest in?
